How many locations do I need?
A location for each monitoring address unless they are within a 1.5 miles of each other.
We would recommend 1 location. While some variance can occur especially with elevation, forecast data will generally be consistent.
We would recommend 1 location per county to ensure critical alerts like tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings aren’t missed.
We would recommend 2 locations. Locations are easy to change anytime, but in case you need weather for your travel & your operation, 2 would work to save you the hassle of needing to switch them back and forth!
How many users are right for me?
We recommend a user for each decision maker.
We recommend 1 user with Pro Access and the Chat Add-on & the other users as “additional pro users”.
We recommend one user!
Do I need lightning detection?
We recommend adding on lightning.
We recommend adding on lightning monitoring for each location.
We don’t recommend adding on lightning. Our lightning data is customizable and designed specifically for events, schools, etc. that are making critical safety decisions.
We recommend adding on lightning. With our lightning monitoring you can set countdown timers, customize alert lightning range rings & monitor cloud-to-ground and/or cloud-to-cloud lightning strikes on a simple radar map and table.
Do I need PaveCast?
We recommend adding on Pavecast.
We recommend adding on Pavecast.
Pavecast is designed for users determining treatment & removal plans for wintry weather and decision makers that need to make informed decisions regarding road conditions in winter. Pavecast is not designed to be utilized in situations outside of wintry weather.
