How to use Clarity in 3 Steps
1. Add and create a location in Clarity.
After you have downloaded the Clarity app or logged in on the platform, start getting forecasts by clicking add location and then adding an address or coordinate. Change your location address and name at any time to ensure you get alerted for exactly where you need.
2. Set Policy-Specific Threshold Alerts
If you have thresholds to initiate policy actions or mandates, utilize forecast and condition alerts to know exactly when to act. Set up alerts for when a certain temperature, wind, or visibility level is reached and receive push alerts for rain, snow or ice in the forecast.
3. Customize your alerts and set tracking metrics.
Get the information you want and skip what you don’t need. Prioritize alerts you receive by managing the threat level and type of weather alert you want to receive. For agriculture, turf, landscaping and more, turn on growing degree unit monitoring from your plant date to season’s end.
