Synopsis: Good Wednesday morning! We are tracking some cooler air across the region today along with a few showers across PA and upstate NY. These will dissipate this afternoon with some sunshine mixed with clouds for most places. Rain moves in late tonight into tomorrow across western PA and Ohio, then into New England Thursday night into Friday morning. Heavy rains are expected Friday for many with lingering showers lasting into Saturday as well. Cool conditions are expected to last through much of next week with unsettled conditions at times as well.

Rain moves in late tonight and spreads eastward through Friday. Here’s the European’s interpretation through the day Saturday. A nasty few days!

Total rainfall will range from 1 to 3 inches across the region by the end of the weekend. 

Temperatures in both weeks 1 and 2 will run much below normal, especially the farther west you go across the forecast area. Our temperature and precipitation forecasts are shown below.
