Key Points: Thursday May 11, 2017

Synopsis: Good Thursday morning! The big story over the coming days will certainly be the storm projected for this upcoming weekend. Timing for this system looks to be late Saturday through Saturday night, tapering off during the morning on Sunday. The main impacts will be heavy rainfall, gusty easterly winds, and very cool temperatures for this time of the year. The good news, however, is that once we get beyond this system, warmer times look to take hold next week with temperatures likely reaching into the 70s and 80s! Along with the warmer temperatures, the wet pattern we have been in looks to continue with rainfall likely remaining above normal through the end of the month especially across Ohio and Pennsylvania. In the video below, I touch on timing of the storm Saturday into Sunday, along with rainfall amounts and wind gusts. I then talk about the warmer pattern heading into next week and beyond. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via email ([email protected]). Have a wonderful day! ~Ed
