Making decisions can be tough – as weather drives a lot of what we do daily. You’re the superintendent of a school system – you need accurate and timely info to make decisions on delaying or closing school. You’re the boss of a restaurant and you make to make the tough decision whether to risk your employee’s safety by driving to work. You work in construction and pour concrete – you need to know whether it’s going to rain, which could cost thousands of dollars wasted. You work in construction or landscaping and need to know whether to have your employees work or not. What you don’t need is your free app giving you a 50% rain chance. You need a YES or NO.
“Why” our weather service is a huge benefit over free weather sources/apps: The biggest value of what we offer and do daily comes with the ability to text or call us anytime, and the ability for us to keep you updated on the fly as weather is happening. Not only are you getting accurate weather, but you have someone right there at your fingertips who is guiding your decisions by giving you the best weather information possible. We aren’t robots, we are like your best friend and truly strive to make your job as least complicated as possible.
Our services provide weather for so many different fields out there. At the end of the day, we are all impacted by the weather. We have had the joy of providing weather to MANY outdoor events around the country this summer, and what we can provide for you is something you won’t find elsewhere. When weather is active, we are constantly watching the radar and being proactive in making sure the correct triggers are in place when needed. This is what the Des Moines Arts Festival had to say about our service as we provided this summer.
“You promised, and you delivered. I could try to tell you how many times I heard “best $1,500 you spent this weekend” but I can’t count that high.. Bret, Kirk, and Matt were responsive, personable, and spot on in their predictions and calls. When your weather service calls for 45mph wind gusts, and you run a fine art festival with millions of dollars in inventory sitting under tents, it’s concerning. The call for this wind and its timing was impeccable and provided us time to prepare the site and assist artists in securing their tents and inventory. Your team predicted 50-60 minutes away and then again 40 minutes away. Based on this information we activated our Emergency Plan and sent a text informing everyone on site you could expect high winds between 10:05 – 10:15 a.m. The winds started at 10:07 and lasted about 13 minutes.
I know you say you appreciate the significance of this. However, I’m here to tell you; you have no idea. When we can inform 175 artists that their livelihood is at stake and they should close, cover, prepare, it-is-significant. We come off looking like heroes and that we have their safety as the highest priority. The fact that the call was so accurate helped elevate the artist’s trust in us to help protect them from the unexpected.
Thanks very much to you and your team. We appreciate the partnership and are ready to sign on for 2020!”

The problem is that people have a skewed perception of how forecasting works, because of what they see on TV or on their free apps. We have a service that WILL make your event stress free when it comes to the weather, and WILL save you time and money. It never rained with that storm in Iowa, but if they wouldn’t of known about this rogue outflow of winds, the outcome could have been much different. An untrained eye wouldn’t know this was coming.
We would love to show you what makes us different. We can offer you a free trial, just to get a good feel of how the service works.
Winter is our favorite time of year! Don’t get caught off guard this season by surprise freezing fog and snow flurries that are just enough to make everything slick. It’s always the “small” events that seem to catch folks off guard. That won’t happen with our service. Having the ability to text/call us and receive our text alerts keeps you on top as weather is fluid and things change. If you stick to watching TV for weather, you’re only getting information that is presented at that time. A LOT can change from 5-10pm when a snowstorm is imminent.
What our service provides you: A daily local forecast. We forecast for 10 states in the Midwest. A long-range forecast. Full 24/7 on-call support. We also provide weather for the energy industry and South America weather. E-mail us at [email protected] so we can get you the service that best fits your needs. Let us help you!
Snow event verification: Observed snowfall on the left, our forecast snowfall on the right, from a winter storm January 11-13, 2019.
