Synopsis: Good Monday morning! We are tracking a disturbance moving through the Midwest this morning bringing some showers to areas to our west. This will bring a threat for some showers and even a few rumbles of thunder this afternoon across central and northern Illinois. This threat will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday as an upper level low pressure system hangs around the area. Some small hail is possible in these showers and storms along with briefly heavy rain. Drier times are expected Thursday before another disturbance brings another threat for rain Friday into Saturday. Have a great day!

  • This disturbance will bring a threat for showers and storms today into Tuesday. Small hail and heavy rain will be the main threats with any storm.
