Forecast rainfall data through Friday night: Northeast Missouri stays dry, and areas across west central and southwest Kansas are much drier. All of eastern Kansas and western/southern Missouri are prime spots for heavy rain potential.
We’ll catch a bit of a break Friday afternoon through a decent part of Saturday, then a strong disturbance will work into northern Kansas Saturday evening/night bringing a renewed storm and heavy rain risk. We’ll have several chances for storms to stick around next week.
