Good morning everyone! Not seeing major issues in the forecast, but we do have the risk for scattered thunderstorms both this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. Specifically for today, we think the greatest coverage of storms will be just to our west in Pennsylvania as we have a weaker area of instability over the state of New Jersey that will allow storms to weaken slightly – though we still think some storms can make it into the area especially between 3 – 6 PM EDT:
We do have heat advisories in effect today as high temperatures will get into the low 90s and heat indices should rise into the upper-90s.
Tomorrow the main area of storms associated with a front will remain west throughout the day but I do think there is the risk for some pop ups ahead of the front in the afternoon between 2 – 5 PM. These will not be widespread but something to keep an eye on into your game time early in the afternoon.
