Wind forecast over the next 4 days:
Kansas looks dry from mid-late week through early next week, with any rainfall risks shunted north across Nebraska. Areas along-north of I-80 in Nebraska will be in line for a couple storm clusters – right now targeting Friday night and again Saturday night for this potential. However, we do not favor any excessive rains here. We’ll also have to keep an eye on what happens with the tropical system in the Gulf. There have been hints this could brush parts of southeast Kansas, but right now we think it’s more likely to go just east of here. Plenty of time to watch it.
Weeks 1 and 2 temperatures from normal:
Weeks 1 and 2 precipitation: I think most of Kansas can fair drier than normal the next 2 weeks, overall more “normal” rain for Nebraska. Overall, we think any heavy rains are shunted north and also east of us.
