500 Festival Forecast – Thursday (4/27/17)

Good Thursday morning! Below you will find an updated forecast for Friday’s educational event. We continue to have a chance for showers and a couple of storms tomorrow as a high pressure departs east and a disturbance moves into the Midwest.

Friday: Right now we are anticipating a ~30% chance for showers during the first few hours of the event tomorrow morning, by late morning through the end of the event we will have a 40-50% chance for showers and can’t rule out an isolated storm as well. We will see a high of 70º with winds out of the south-southeast at 5-10mph gusting at times to 20-25mph (moreso getting into late morning and early afternoon). There is some potential for rain-related weather delays on Friday’s event.
