500 Festival Forecast – Friday (4/28/17)
Good Friday morning, not much change in the forecast for the event today, still expecting some showers to work in this morning and then increase in coverage late morning into the afternoon hours.
Friday: Expecting a high of 71º with winds out of the southeast at 5-10mph gusting at times to 20-25mph by late morning into the afternoon. Coverage of showers this morning for the first half of the event with be 30%, increasing to 40-50% late morning into the second half of the event with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Can’t rule out a rain-related weather delay today.
High near 71º expected today:
Winds expected out of the southeast at 5-10mph, gusting at times to 20-25mph moreso focused late morning into the afternoon.
Showers expected 30% coverage first half of the event, expanding to 40-50% during the second half of the event…can’t rule out a few rumbles of thunder here as well.
