5-10-19 Ohio: Updated Mother’s Day forecast…trending towards a cooler/drier pattern into next week. K.

Observed rainfall over the past 24 hours is below…generally seeing 0.25-0.75″ where it rained, a couple swaths of 0.75-1.50″ where noted as well:

Total precipitation guidance through Mother’s Day weekend and Monday is below…we also mentioned that it’s possible this data could be underdone from Cincy to the Columbus metro area and totals could be slightly higher per the higher resolution modeling that we showed; we will call it another risks for ~0.25-0.75″, localized higher can’t be ruled out but don’t expect it to be widespread at this time:

Getting into next week we favor a cooler and drier period to settle in…a pattern I’ve talked to many of you personally about where I felt this would be a more favorable timeframe to get that seed into the fields…don’t miss today’s long-range update on how long we think this lasts:
