The heaviest rain will be with us this morning, then expect just patchy light rain & drizzle this afternoon.  Drier air will allow moisture to exit west to east 9pm to midnight.  Forecast radar from 6am today to midnight tonight:

The extreme northeast part of the state will see a period of snow showers from roughly 2am to 10am Tuesday ET.  Not a big deal and only putting a coating in spots, mainly Elkhart to Angola.  The predominant west wind will keep this activity confined pretty far north.

Temperatures will drop dramatically overnight – between 10pm & 4am there will be nearly a 25º drop.

Watching a wave of light snow showers Wednesday morning (7am-noonET) for northern Indiana, which may bring a coating of snow from Gary to Fort Wayne.  Given the arctic air, it won’t take much to cause a few slick spots.
