Good Evening.
There are still some signs for fog tomorrow morning, but there is not any overall impressive signal. The image below shows fog potential for tomorrow morning. However, as Vince stated in the video this morning, the model shown is notorious for showing fog. Other short range models are not completely on board with this widespread fog idea. There are some ingredients for fog to occur in the darker shaded regions shown below but some stronger winds will limit this potential. This looks to be very isolated and not widespread.
Here is a look at temperatures around the same time as the image above. Temperatures will be at or slightly below freezing during this time allowing for isolated freezing fog.
Here is a look at some of the latest data that has come in this evening. The loop below is simulated radar from 4 PM Sunday through 6 PM Monday.
Here is a look at at some of the newest modeled snowfall totals out through 6 PM Monday. There are still some differences in the model solutions for this event as some models continue to have more accumulating snow across southern WI. We will have to fine tune going forward.
For instance here is a look at the European model snowfall amounts. We will continue updating as more data comes in.
Below is a look at temperatures from 4 PM Sunday through 6 PM Monday. Temperatures look to be at/ below freezing when snow is falling.
Temperature will continue to drop throughout the day on Monday. By the time we get to around 6 AM Tuesday morning, temperatures will be very cold. Here is a look at modeled temperatures around 6 AM Tuesday.
Here is a look at wind gust from 4 PM Sunday through 6 PM Monday. Wind will generally be out of the north. We will be dealing with wind gust around the 20 – 25 MPH with isolated 30 MPH possible during this event.
