System brings light snow in the far north tonight….areas from Rockford to Waukegan can see isolated slick bridges and overpasses with a coating of snow possible on the grass, but most of this stays in Wisconsin. Otherwise, central Illinois stays dry and much warmer tonight.
Precipitation will work through late Wednesday through the first half of Thursday….we are expecting the far south to see a heavy rain event, but most of the state will only see minor precipitation.
