Forecast snow totals: We think there can be isolated higher totals especially near I-70 than what is shown below given some banding signatures. We think the model is a touch underdone around the Chicago area.

Winds will pick up across the state late morning through the evening, gusting to 30-35mph out of the north. This will restrict visibility and cause blowing/drifting of the snow.
