Here is a graphic with out latest thoughts. As things stand right now areas to the west and north of Milwaukee are up for grabs to see accumulating snow fall of 1″ – 2″ with areas closer to Green Bay more in the 2″ – 4″ range.
Simulated radar from 7 PM Monday through 10 AM Tuesday. Precipitation looks to fall mainly as rain initially across southeastern Wisconsin before transitioning to snow later in the morning of Tuesday.
We need to watch for potential refreeze Tuesday night. Here is a look at temperatures at 3 PM on Tuesday. Plenty of sunshine is expected during the day as well.

Here is a look at modeled wind gust from 7 AM Tuesday through midnight on Tuesday. Overall, no major winds are expected which should help limit the air drying the melted snow and increasing the chances for ice accumulation from refreeze. Winds will generally be out of the north-northwest during this time.
There is potential for freezing fog in areas just west of Milwaukee on Tuesday night. The darker shades in the image below indicate low surface visibilities (fog). Temperatures at this time will be well below freezing and poses the risk for freezing fog.
