10-25-19 Kansas: A decent weekend gives way to unseasonable cold & snow chances next week. N.

Good morning!  Here is your latest forecast update:

Total rain over the past 24 hours:

Snowfall reports from Texas & Oklahoma panhandles yesterday:

A little more rain for SE Kansas…but these areas will turn mostly dry beyond noon today.  It now appears much of any additional rain stays in Oklahoma & Missouri Saturday AM.  Most areas are sunny & dry through Saturday!

Wind guidance over the next 4 days:

A rather weak disturbance brings light snow Monday afternoon & night….general 1-2″ across north-central & northwest Kansas.

We’ll see another shot of snow for Wednesday…this time looks like the entire state is “in play” to see snow, but this does NOT look like a big system at this time.  When averaging these two systems with 51 different models, this is what you get.  Gives the idea that northern & northwest areas have the greatest likelihood for a few inches or so of snow next week.
