Zone 8 Short-Term Update: Updated look at rainfall and storm threats over the next several days. N.

Synopsis:  Good Tuesday afternoon!  Expecting scattered storms to develop along a cold front later this afternoon through tonight, then the front remains in the area with continued rounds of rain for the rest of the week.  This short-term update covers the timing and location of these storms later today, and an update on the rainfall threats through late week.

Latest hi-res NAM animated radar through Thursday evening shows scattered increasing along and south of the cold front tonight into Wednesday.  Scattered showers and storms in the southern half of the area tomorrow.  Another wave moves in on Thursday with some heavy rainfall associated with it along with more widespread coverage.

Latest rainfall guidance over the next 60 hours….locally heavy rains a good bet.
