Updated Reds Forecast (6/28/17):

Synopsis: Good Wednesday morning! Expecting continued nice weather at the ballpark today with mostly sunny skies…it’s getting into Thursday evening and beyond where some unsettled weather becomes possible, along with the potential for weather-delays, especially on Friday into Saturday.

Latest forecast ahead next 5 days for the home games:

Wednesday: Another nice day is expected with highs in the lower 80s and calmer winds out of the south-southwest. No weather-delays are expected here.

Thursday: Most of Thursday will stay rain-free here, but by game time Thursday night we have placed ~20% chance for isolated storms given elevated energy (CAPE, top right image) in the area. It will be quite gusty at times out of the southwest up to 30mph…can’t rule out a weather-related delay here.

Friday: We increase our storm chances here on Friday to 40-50% coverage given the elevated amounts of energy (CAPE, bottom left image)…winds here will also be out of the southwest gusting at times to 30mph; a weather-related risk will be possible.

Saturday: Similar to Friday, we have placed ~50% chance for storms along the cold front by game time here, winds will be out of the southwest gusting at times to 20mph; watching closely for a potential weather-related delay.

Sunday: Should be an overall nice day with sunshine expected, however we can’t fully rule out a thunderstorm popping up given the energy present so we’ve placed the risk at 20% coverage currently; winds will be out of the southwest once again gusting to 20mph. Can’t full rule out a weather-related delay on Sunday.
