Reds Forecast Update:

Synopsis: Good Monday morning! Below is the forecast for the home games this week Tuesday through Sunday. We start out the week with nice weather, but as we get into mid to late week we begin to introduce storm chances that linger through the weekend; we get warm and windy mid-week as well, before temperatures moderate Friday through Sunday and winds die down as well. Weekly forecast:

Tuesday/Wednesday: Expecting calm weather under high pressure here, temperatures Tuesday will be in the 70s with calm northwest winds while Wednesday we warm into the lower 80s with a south-southwest gusting up to 25 at times.

Thursday: Latest data is indicating an increase in storm coverage by gametime Thursday evening, coverage expected right now to be ~40% as noted below. With winds gusting out of the southwest at times up to 40mph as well, can’t rule out a weather-related hazard here.

Wind gusts out of the southwest upwards of 40mph at times:

Friday: Noted well by the animation below, storms again move into the area by gametime Friday night, coverage will be higher here at ~50% with winds expected out of the southwest gusting at times to 30mph; can’t rule out a weather-related hazard here.

Winds expected to be out of the southwest here again gusting at times to 30 mph.

Saturday: Another storm threat possible here by gametime in the late afternoon, placing the risk at ~40%  with winds out of the southwest gusting at times to 20mph. A weather-related hazard cannot be ruled out here for storms.

Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-10 mph, gusting at times to 20mph.

Sunday: We have a lower risk for storms here as of right now ~20% isolated, some sunshine will be possible so the more sunshine we receive the better our storm chances by gametime; winds will be out of the southwest gusting at times up to 20mph…a weather-related hazard cannot be totally ruled out here.

Winds will be calmer out of the southwest here again at 5-10mph with the occasional gust at 15-20mph.
