Synopsis: Keeping the discussion short and sweet so the focus is on the video. Showers and storms are slightly further west than guidance indicated yesterday which has shifted the forecast a touch. As the warm front lifts north today precipitation chances will increase east into Indiana and Ohio as well. Given high moisture content in the atmosphere today and other supporting dynamics, cannot rule out a few stronger storms mainly with gusty winds and large hail with both this wave this morning and later tonight along the front. We still believe 1-3″+ of total rainfall is certainly on the table here over the next 36 hours, so where it rains it’ll likely rain heavy.
