Key Points: June 1, 2017

Synopsis: Good Thursday morning! We are tracking some showers and thunderstorms along a warm front across Kansas and western Missouri this morning with the remainder of the region dry. This warm front will be the focal point for additional showers and storms today across eastern Nebraska, northeastern Kansas, northwestern Missouri, and Iowa. This warm front will continue shower and storm chances Friday across Iowa and Missouri along with some afternoon and evening rain chances in western Nebraska and Kansas as well. Spotty coverage of showers and storms chances will continue into the weekend thanks to a warm and humid airmass. A cold front will pass Sunday ushering cooler, drier air into the region early next week. The next chance for precipitation may come Wednesday when another weak disturbance approaches the region from the west. Have a blessed day!
