Guys this is the Weather channels latest forecast just updated for this weekend storm. It’s likely the area in red is severely incorrect with its snowfall forecast.
1. There is absolutely no way anyone in IL will see 5-8″ of snow Friday evening. There are multiple reasons as to why.
2. Literally no one in central Indiana will get any accumulating snow at all.
3. Its possible Chicago metro area could get 0 snow to accumulate on roads and pavement up there this weekend.
4. Businesses that react to forecasts like this will waste 100s of thousands of dollars…all for nothing…all because they wanted the free stuff.
This stuff happens all the time, this industry is loaded with people who share forecasts for attention, for money and or they share it because they literally do not know how to forecast snow so they just copy and paste model runs like you see here. Which by the way this looks to be copy paste job from the European model which we just believe is handling this system VERY poorly again for multiple reasons.
