Good Sunday evening!
We wanted to provide a forecast update for your upcoming games this Tue and Wed:
Highs Tue look to be in the low 80s with winds coming out of the SE at 5 to 15 mph:
Right now we are not seeing many issues precip wise for Tuesday night. Below is the most “aggressive” model near game time- only some very light sprinkles off to the west that are no guarantee based on the upper levels not being completely saturated:
Working into Wednesday, we think we will warm things up a little with highs closer to the upper 80s/ low 90s. We think with dew points in the 70s, “feels like” temperatures could be a few clicks higher than what the actual temperature is:
We are putting a 30% chance for seeing precip for your game Wednesday. There is some model discrepancy regarding upper level energy overhead as some data favors a lack of energy while other data favors more energy to be over the state. Right now we are favoring the image on the left where we don’t have as much upper level energy, however we cannot totally rule out some precip in the area Wed PM:
Winds look to be out of the S at 5 to 10 mph. Looking at the surface winds, we can see a weak front stretching from N NJ down to SE PA and MD that shows we could see a zone of converging winds which could help produce some precip:
A look at total precip out through Wed evening. Any possible precip that we so see does look to stay on the lighter side as there does not look to be a ton of moisture in the area to create high rainfall amounts:
We will be sending a full update in the AM that will hopefully clear up our Wednesday chances as we will be working into the range of some short term data by tomorrow! Please let us know if you have any questions and have a great rest of your evening!
