Today’s Video:
Good Thursday morning everyone. No big adjustments to the forecast, we should remain dry and beautiful today with some isolated showers developing into the late morning and early afternoon hours tomorrow mainly off to our northeast. Attention remains focus on Sunday where we do have a risk for a broken area of light showers across the area. Here’s a look at your latest 7 day forecast.
Here’s a look at the simulated radar for tomorrow. Note, we could start to see some of the shower activity to our northeast increase in the late morning hours continuing into the early afternoon. We cannot rule out a few rogue showers near the speedway in this timeframe, though the bulk of the activity stays just north/east.
Behind this boundary we should dry out into Saturday, but energy returns on Sunday leading to precipitation chances. Dry air will initially limit the extent the rain can move east, though I do think we saturate enough to bring a broken area of showers into Central Indiana in the mid-late afternoon hours on Sunday which will continue into the overnight hours. Generally it looks like rain chances will be in the early morning hours for Monday with clearing conditions in the afternoon:
