Excessive rainfall outlooks over the next 3 days shown below.  The heaviest focus of rain shifts into Missouri late week.  Initially, the heaviest rain risks across northern Missouri, then more widespread Friday and especially Saturday.  

Latest tracks of Tropical Depression Gordon take it right through central Missouri on Saturday.  

Total rainfall over the next 60 hours:  Greater risks for scattered storms into late week shifting to areas across central and eastern Kansas with much of Nebraska catching a break. Very heavy rain amounts of 3-6″ (locally more) possible across northeast Missouri.  Now would be a great time to make sure your sump pump is working properly.
