9-4-19 IMS: Pleasant weather the next several days. Watching rain risks on Sunday/Monday. B.

Today’s Video:

Good Wednesday morning everyone. We should also remain dry throughout the day today and into tomorrow with plenty of sunshine and cooler temperatures. Here’s a look at the latest 7 day outlook:

Friday there could be a couple of isolated showers off to our northeast but we are still leaning on the drier side for IMS with perhaps some wind gusts after the frontal passage in the afternoon up to 20 – 25 MPH. Attention will then turn to Sunday where a stationary boundary and increased moisture will lend to precipitation risks across Central Indiana. As we discussed yesterday there was the potential for data to trend further south with this wave and they did overnight and are now in better agreement with the idea we laid out yesterday. Here’s a look at where the stationary boundary sets up on Sunday:

This looks to be more of a light to moderate rain threat rather than storms and we would anticipate breaks in rainfall activity across Central Indiana so likely not an all day rain with chances increasing in the afternoon hours. Here’s a look at the simulated radar from 8AM Sunday to 2PM Monday: Total precipitation will likely range from 0.25 – 0.75″ through Monday. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out and have a great day!
