Monday storm reports: W=Wind reports, H=Hail.
Monday’s observed rainfall:
A pleasant Fall-like day settling in across the area. Winds will stay breezy out of the north-northwest, but diminish tonight after sunset. Here is the wind gust forecast through the day.
High pressure will settle over the area tonight, leading to chilly temperatures for our Wednesday morning. Here are the forecast lows tonight:
Beautiful Wednesday coming! A disturbance will bring a few showers to the area Wednesday night-Thursday, confined to the northeast half of North Dakota and central/northern Minnesota. This is a weak system and generally amounts are under a quarter-inch.
High pressure briefly builds back in Thursday night into Friday, but it will give way to unsettled weather late Friday night-Saturday, as rain looks to overspread the area. We think Saturday is the wetter of the two weekend days. Next week looks active with near daily rounds of rain and storms in the area. Check out the 7-day rainfall numbers. This all falls after Friday, and totals get quite high by Tuesday AM of next week.
