Rainfall over the next 60 hours: Not expecting a uniform rain event across the state as there will be areas missing out over the next 48 hours….we may see a focus tonight in the central/northern portions of the state then the southeast part of the state late Thursday as the cold front shifts south. The highest upside potential will be northeast sections of the state with local 2-3″ are possible up towards Hartington and Butte.
Severe storm outlooks today and Thursday…areas from central to northeast sections of the state could see a few storms capable of hail/wind and isolated spin-ups this evening, then on Thursday the severe concerns over the eastern sections of the state mainly from mid-afternoon through mid-evening.
