Some light rain showers are pushing through the North Dakota and these likely continue into mid-day with scattered rain chances possible throughout the day: 

We’ll deal with some scattered mist and drizzle throughout the day in Southern South Dakota but stronger storms won’t develop until the overnight hours in E. ND and into Northern Minnesota. A few strong to severe storms cannot be ruled out with hail the main threat. These generally begin developing around midnight and slowly push to the ENE and start to weaken tomorrow morning: 

We’ll likely see a bit of break tomorrow before more storms could develop tomorrow afternoon and evening that will generally impact the same locations as the boundary sets up shop over the area, however, eventually these storms will push north with the warm front out of the area overnight on Saturday:

Parts of South Dakota can be cooler with the drizzle risks today, but as the front lifts north temperatures will get into the 90s for portions of South Dakota this weekend before the front starts to push through on Monday. Here’s a look at temperatures the next 4 days:

As the front moves through it will increase rain chances especially Tuesday – Thursday. The front will stall out in the southern portions of the area and lead to numerous rain and storm risks throughout next week:
