9-12-18 Central Plains: Dry & warming up through the weekend….rain risks return next week (esp. north). N.

Watch the video for more forecast details, including the latest on Hurricane Florence:

After our mainly dry forecast through the weekend, we gradually work in an active pattern for northern portions of the region next week as a front settles in and unfortunately looks to get “hung up” in northern parts of the area.   With this trend, we also limit the infiltration of cooler air so data has generally trended warmer for next week.  Adjustments are still likely with next week’s set-up as the Hurricane out east can create more havoc in the models.

10-day rainfall forecast.  Most of this works in beyond Monday of next week.

High temperatures over the next 10 days:  Warming up over through the weekend, but at least no 90s (for most)!  🙂
