Good Monday morning! Light rain is moving across the Cincinnati area this morning, with the back edge of the showers not far away. Mainly dry conditions should develop this afternoon, with a very nice forecast setting up into mid-week. The next threat for rain will come on the last day of the home stretch, but it does not look too concerning.
Showers should continue to wind down over the next couple of hours, with mainly dry conditions this afternoon and evening. Can’t rule out a stray shower into early evening. The latest run of the HRRR model (below) shows dry conditions for this evening’s game. Temperatures will be unseasonably cool today due to mostly cloudy skies and a north wind developing 5-20 mph.
Tuesday will be a great day with lots of sunshine, lower humidity, and pleasant temperatures. Highs are forecast to reach the upper 70s. Winds will be out of the northeast 5-15 mph.
Wednesday will feature more of the same as high pressure remains in control of our weather. Expect mostly sunny skies, low humidity, and highs in the lower 80s. Winds will be light out of the east 5-10 mph.
Thursday will feature a ~30% storm threat developing during the afternoon hours. We believe there is a good chance the game gets in dry, but a small storm chance is warranted at this time. Temperatures will reach the lower 80s with more humidity. Winds will not be much of a factor, variable 5-10 mph.
We will continue to fine-tune this forecast over the next few days. Have a great Monday, and let us know if you have any questions.
