Good morning everyone! No real concerns today, though winds could gust up to 20-25 MPH this afternoon and early this evening as the weak, faded boundary passes through the area. Not anticipating this boundary to produce any storms, though we cannot rule out a few sprinkles. Here’s a look at wind gusts at 2PM:
There is some energy to our north tomorrow but dry air should prevent anything from reaching the ground. Overall, it should be a pleasant day with dry conditions. However, as we work into Sunday, we do bring back the moisture and we can’t rule out some scattered activity in the afternoon and evening hours. With that being said, instability is sorely lacking so any activity is likely in the form of scattered light rain showers. Here’s a look at the scattered nature of light rain on Sunday afternoon. These scattered chances come mainly between Noon and 8PM:
Better storm chances will come on Monday as a cold front pushes through the area. This will be accompanied by better moisture and higher instability. The bulk of the storm risks should hold off until after your game – more into the evening hours – but we need to watch timing carefully as if it speeds up further it could impact the back half of your game.
