Heavy storms working across eastern Kansas this morning, where locally 2-4″ of rain has fallen.  

Storms will move out of eastern Kansas this afternoon with only isolated activity later today through the evening.  Forecast radar from 8am to 4pm CDT today shown below.

Watching a severe storm threat for eastern Nebraska and into northeast Kansas Friday.  A round of storms looks to develop over far southeast Nebraska into northeast Kansas after midnight into tomorrow morning.  This could produce a few severe storms with large hail, wind, and isolated tornadoes.  I think the greater severe risk sets-up later in the day through the evening hours in eastern Nebraska/western Iowa.  Forecast radar from 1am CDT tonight to 4am CDT Saturday:
