Good Saturday Morning!
We are expecting this trend of drier weather to continue throughout the weekend. Below is a simulated radar loop from noon ET today until 8 PM ET tonight. Note that any chances for precip come in the extreme northern and southern portions of the state and does not look to impact the Indy metro area:
Highs today will be slightly warmer the further south you go. High temps in Indy look to be right around 87:
We are also not expecting a lot of cloud cover during the day today. The bottom right image shows total cloud cover while the other 3 images show cloud cover percentages at different levels in the atmosphere. If you do see any clouds in the center of the state, they look to be high clouds which should not have much of an impact on the amount of sunshine we see:
Winds today will be out of the NE at 5 to 10 mph, a few gusts hitting 15 mph:
Tomorrow looks to be a very similar day with very low chances of preicp. We are keeping an eye on tomorrow evening as some guidance is hinting at some more pop ups than today, but this is still very scattered in nature and would only look to impact a few counties across the state. Below is modeled simulated radar from Noon Sunday ET until 8 PM Sunday:
Highs tomorrow look to be a touch warmer than today, with Indy pushing closer to 90 degrees:
A look at modeled precipitation totals out through 8 PM ET Sunday. As mentioned, we are not expecting to see any widespread totals across the state and you all should stay dry:
7-day precipitation totals. We are likely looking at 0.25 to 0.75 inches for the Indy area, and this looks to come in two different waves. One Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, and another heavier round Thursday into early Friday:
