Kansas Video:
Nebraska/Iowa/Missouri Video:
As we head through mid-week, the main focus for rain chances will be across Kansas. Much of the rest of the area will see dry conditions and a nice (brief) break from the humidity. Here is a look at rainfall amounts through Thursday (note the rain showing up in eastern areas has already fallen last night, so ignore that). I think much of Kansas works in 0.50″ to 1.00″ of rainfall from late tonight through Thursday. Isolated areas over 1″ likely.
Forecast radar from 1PM Thursday to 7am CDT Saturday shown below: This time-frame will bring the return of scattered storm risks across Missouri and Iowa, with the risk for a few severe storms during this time, especially across northern Iowa.
Rainfall through 7am Saturday shown below:
Big story over the weekend will be a VERY humid and hot set-up! A few additional scattered storms possible especially on Sunday, but not seeing anything too widespread.
