Good Tuesday Morning:
Here is a look at your latest forecast video update:
A look at 24 hour radar estimated precipitation accumulation.Much of KS and NE stayed dry yesterday, with the majority of the precip focused in the far S parts of KS:
A current look at radar shows that we are dry in Kansas, however we are watching a stronger storm system work through NW Nebraska:

Nebraska:
We think that this current area of precip that is in NW Nebraska will eventually move in more of a southward direction due to an instability gradient that is more situated in W parts of KS/NE. Below is simulated radar from 1 PM CT this afternoon until 1 AM CT Wednesday morning:
We think that Wednesday during the day can stay on the drier side, however we are watching for more storms to develop come Wednesday night, mainly focused in the W part of the state. Below is simulated radar from Wednesday from 7 AM CT until 7 PM CT. Toward the end of this loop, we can see those precipitation chances start to develop:
As mentioned in the video, we also think there is the potential for another wave to work into the area Thursday night into Friday. Here is a look at a simulated radar image for overnight Friday. This image should not be used for exact placement as this model has a larger resolution, but we think there is the potential for a few stronger storms with this wave of energy:
