Good Monday Morning!
Here is a look at your latest video update:
A current look at radar shows that we are looking at some rain in E parts of SD and Northwest MN right now. The heavier and more widespread rains are stretching from North Central to Southeast ND:
Radar estimated rainfall over the past 72 hours. We have seen some pretty nice totals along S ND and much of SD, with a good chunk of the state picking up over an inch in the past 72 hours:
Looking at today, we think that the northern half of ND can see some scattered storms today, but this area of precip will continue to work its way W that will impact the northern parts of MN. During this time we think SD will largely remain dry:
Tomorrow we can see some activity in E ND, but we think that much of the Western 2/3 of ND and most of SD can stay on the drier side. As we work into the evening on Tuesday, we start to see the wave work more into Minnesota:
A look at rainfall guidance out through Wednesday evening at 7 PM CT. As mentioned in the video, the heaviest rains look to be in N ND and parts of N MN. SW MN and most of SD are two areas that really do not have a lot of precip opportunities out through Wednesday evening:
