Today’s video:
Observed rainfall over the past 24 hours…a few locally heavy downpours noted across west-central and NE ND…otherwise, dry for another day:
Favored rainfall guidance over the next 60 hours is below…completely dry conditions especially from Fargo to Sioux Falls to Minneapolis…otherwise…areas further west and north pose the risk at seeing a base of 0.5-1.5″…but locally heavier totals topping 2-3″+ possible for western/southern SD (and some flash flooding even) and in local spots in NW ND:
Saturday as a whole is generally day region-wide…we think there can be some spotty showers and times Sunday, but the next main feature won’t be until Monday as a weak cold front starts to develop and shift further south and east. But even with this feature, rainfall potential looks very scattered at best where many still stay completely dry. Those that do get under a shower/storm pose the risk at seeing a general 0.25-0.75″:
