Good Tuesday morning everyone! A cluster of storms is continuing to progress throughout the Eastern Dakotas and Southern Minnesota this morning. Numerous flash flood warning have been issued in SW Minnesota as a continual re-developing storm drops heavy rain. Eventually, these will begin to diminish as we head into the early afternoon:
A few additional thunderstorms could develop this afternoon, but the primary risk will develop in the Western Dakotas and eventually into Central Minnesota overnight. These could contain heavy rain, damaging winds and large hail with an isolated tornado:
A front will continue to push through the area tomorrow and an additional line of storms with potential damaging winds will push through southern Minnesota tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night:
Behind this system, temperatures cool off for a few days before more heat builds into the area for the weekend:
