Good Sunday morning! Here’s the latest 7-day forecast:
As of 8:15am EDT an area of showers is slowly drifting south into Kentucky. However, additional widely scattered showers and storms are expected to develop in the area after 10am that have a chance of hindering this afternoon’s game. Coverage with this afternoon’s storms associated with the upper-level low still hanging onto the region will be near 30% with a slightly greater coverage just off to the west. This won’t be an all day rain but just like yesterday it is likely to be intermittent. Temperatures at first pitch in the early afternoon will be between 77-78ºF. Widely scattered wrap-around rains are possible again tomorrow as we will still be dealing with this pesky upper-level low. A couple thunderstorms will pop due to afternoon instability in the region but current model guidance suggests most of the activity stays just to our east. Most activity in the region will fade Monday night. Temperatures for tomorrow evening’s first pitch will be near 76ºF. Isolated shower and storm chances continue through mid-week with this upper-level low slowly drifting to our south. A slight uptick in temperatures is expected beginning Tuesday with highs in the mid 80s.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out and have a great rest of your weekend!
