Targeting 2 rounds of storms for portions of North and South Dakota…..one overnight into Wednesday AM, followed by another wave over the same general area Wednesday night.  Here is the forecast rainfall over the next 60 hours:

The good news is that this wave looks to exit Thursday AM, with more isolated chances for our 4th of July Day into the evening.  Southern Minnesota can maintain slightly higher chances than the rest of us Thursday.  Thursday night, a cluster of showers and storms looks to build into South Dakota during the overnight into Friday morning – eventually tracking into southwest Minnesota Friday AM as well.  It’s a weekend that brings additional rain “chances” but nothing overwhelming.  Here is rainfall out through the next week:
