Very heavy rain has fallen in a localized area across west-central Missouri. This area will need to be on the lookout for rain to linger through the day.
Our severe storm outlook for today is shown below. Areas across the eastern and northeast half of Nebraska will see the highest threat for severe weather this evening. One or more clusters of storms are expected to develop mainly after 4pm….enhanced wind shear here will allow for some storms to contain damaging winds and pockets of hail, along with isolated tornadoes being a risk here.
