Excessive heat warnings have been hoisted across the area through Sunday for heat indices reaching as high as 110F especially Saturday and Sunday:
Rainfall totals ranging between 0.75-1.50″ are realistic totals here in the short-term…with a round possible late this evening (a few strong to severe storms with with wind the main threat possible) and more widespread coverage, and scattered coverage tomorrow regarding storms; cannot fully rule a couple of these being strong/heavy in nature for a time…we time out everything in the video above:
