Forecast radar going into the afternoon: Cluster of storms continues to work southeast across southern and southeast Kansas through late morning/early afternoon as a solid shield of rain. Coverage of rain will decrease going into this afternoon.
Additional storms may fire and push into the western Plains this evening.

Low pressure system continues to develop and work east Wednesday night through Friday bringing rain chances across Iowa. Highest rain coverage in Iowa comes Thursday.
Forecast rainfall from 7pm tonight through 7pm Sunday: As mentioned in the video, still feel the southern/eastern portions of Missouri have the risk to miss out on much of the rains and remain drier than normal. Other-wise, much of Iowa picks up a solid 0.5″ to 1.5″ of rain through late week.
