Overall no big changes from this morning, but wanted to hone in timing and areas of highest storm risks going through the weekend. Here is the latest rainfall forecast through tomorrow evening. You can see the greatest focus is across northern and eastern Iowa with scattered pockets of locally heavy rain through eastern/central Missouri. Northern/central Nebraska can pick up 0.5″-1″ (locally more) from tonight’s storms, then the focus tomorrow shifts to Iowa and parts of Missouri.
Still watching for the threat of severe storms tonight in central/northern Nebraska. Appears main threat would begin after 8pm in northwest areas then push east and southeast through the overnight.
