Threat of severe storms today, esp. south-central Iowa, southern Nebraska, and west-central Kansas.

Forecast radar from 12PM today to 7am Thursday:

Some spots from west-central Iowa to southern Nebraska and west-central Kansas will pick up 1-2″ rainfall over the next 24 hours.  I circled the areas where I have higher confidence.  (Remember not everyone in these circles receives 1-2″ rainfall).

Watch the video for more info on late week into the weekend, as additional scattered storm risks will be with us.  Northern parts of the area will have the greatest risk into the weekend.
