6-5-19 Ohio: Storm risks today….late week looking dry….additional rain chances this weekend. N.

Video:

Forecast radar 2pm today to 11pm tonight: After a scattered batch of storms through noon, scattered line of storms will develop across northern Ohio this afternoon, and drop southward as we head through the evening.

Total rain through tonight:

A lingering boundary should generally remain southwest of the state Thursday and Friday, meaning a dry forecast overall.  The far southwest may get clipped with pop-up showers tomorrow, but generally it will stay in northern Kentucky.  Friday I definitely think we all stay dry.  Saturday, chances pick up a bit for southwest Ohio, but even there it doesn’t look overwhelming.  Better risks for scattered storms Sunday into Monday.  Enjoy the drier trend in the forecast!  You can pinpoint our rain chances based on the upper-level energy Thursday-Saturday:
