Today’s Weather Overview:
- 9AM – Noon: A few peaks of sun are possible with a couple of spotty light showers but the bulk of the rain should remain west.
- Noon – 3PM: We could see some more scattered activity of rain/storms in this window. The bulk of the rain is still west, but will need to watch radar for more hit/miss chances.
- 3PM – 5PM: Rain shield begins to work east into the area. Increasing steady rain chances begin in this window. Embedded thunderstorms are possible.
- 5PM – 9PM: Rain and embedded thunderstorms likely. Rain will likely be light to moderate with the heaviest still just west of the area.
- 9PM – Midnight: Rain chances continue but may begin to break up and become lighter as we work closer to Midnight into the overnight hours.

As we work into tomorrow, we’re still going to be dealing with rain/storm risks especially as we work into the afternoon/evening hours. Right now for tomorrow we favor the first half of the day likely seeing more light/scattered rain showers with a heavier shield of rain into the afternoon and evening. Though we note there are still differences in the evolution of the low-level jet which will determine the exact timing, intensity and placement of the best rain:
